The entrance hall, with cloakroom, provides the perfect spot for four legged friends to curl up and relax. Completing the accommodation are two bright and pretty first floor bedrooms with stunning countryside views, and a bathroom. After a day exploring the beautiful neighbouring countryside, this cosy, welcoming cottage will be waiting for you to return. Take a seat on the patio, have a barbecue, pour a long cold drink, and soak up the unique sounds of the surrounding countryside and farmyard, or, on chillier days, stoke up the woodburner and curl up on the sofa for a cosy night in. The area surrounding this charming cottage is perfect for walking, birdwatching, cycling and touring. This splendid holiday home is well-positioned for trips to historical Hexham, Hadrian's Wall, Corbridge, Blanchland, Kielder Water and Slaley Hall golf complex including luxury spa. Take a trip further afield and visit Newcastle, the Metro Centre, Bowes Museum, Beamish Open Air Museum, Durham City, with its magnificent cathedral and the stunning Heritage Coast. A bustling little market town, Hexham is full of antique shops and popular with tourists visiting nearby Hadrians Wall. Beautiful old Hexham Abbey dates back to the 7th Century and has a superb Saxon crypt. Shoppers flock to colourful stalls in The Shambles in the Market Place on Tuesday and close by is the 14th Century Moot Hall, now an art gallery. The town boasts plenty of open spaces, particularly the Sele, next to the Abbey which is now a lovely public park.
