Completing the accommodation are two bright and pretty first floor bedrooms with stunning countryside views, and a bathroom. Take a seat on the patio, have a barbecue, pour a long cold drink, and soak up the unique sounds of the surrounding countryside and farmyard, or, on chillier days, stoke up the woodburner and curl up on the sofa for a cosy night in. A bustling little market town, Hexham is full of antique shops and popular with tourists visiting nearby Hadrians Wall. Beautiful old Hexham Abbey dates back to the 7th Century and has a superb Saxon crypt. Shoppers flock to colourful stalls in The Shambles in the Market Place on Tuesday and close by is the 14th Century Moot Hall, now an art gallery. The town boasts plenty of open spaces, particularly the Sele, next to the Abbey which is now a lovely public park.
