Its hard to mark on smiley facesOur stay was lovely. The village isn't big so not many amenities. Post office and pub... didn't visit the post office so can't comment but we did visit the pub. Friendly bunch. 2 min walk from the house. Another pub up the road too but we didn't visit this time.The house was lovely and had everything we needed form kitchen to bathroom. Lovely quirky decor and a nice conservatory.Power went off after a day of storms near by but was off for less than 5 mins and they host was there within 2 mins with back up lighting. Whole street went out. Wee community green outside, ideal for the dog for night time and morning business. Wee enclosed concrete garden to the rear.Parking is within the school playground so right at the door. Clean fresh sheets. Good wifi. Apps on telly if you want to log into your Netflix or Amazon... Cupboard full of games, books, magazines and leaflets for all things local. Wee play park just outside too if you visit with wee kiddies. Great stay! Corbridge was a lovely visit and not far from all thing Roman if that's your thing. We visited the Sycamore Gap... top tip... take the low road round rather than over... if you know, you know ha!

Lovely cottage.The owner has thought of everything even a night light in the lounge as there is a little step into the kitchen which I was worried about the night visits to the bathroom as knowing me I would have tripped over.So a massive thank you for that.Would highly recommend and the pub is very friendly and welcoming which serves amazing food 👍👍👍

What a lovely cottage. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything was spot on and the lovely welcome pack was very thoughtful. The property is located in beautiful countryside and there is a small shop (limited opening hours) and a pub within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.
