Please note, the Kielder Marathon Event will be taking place on 12th & 13th October 2019. As a result there will be limited movement around site for vehicles, and restricted access in some areas. The lakeside way will be closed during the event and there will be limited activities running during this weekend. The restaurant will be open as normal, however will be very busy during this period.

Overall a great break which was helped by a fantastic friendly team and great facilities including a swimming pool, shop, bar and restaurant and play areas for children.Food and drink great quality, great choice and good value for money.A couple of minor issues with the lodge which I have emailed the site directly about.

The lodge was a bit short on cutlery and crockery for four people.

Please clean these lodges properly. Oven not acceptable, the grease on the cooker hood thick and sticky, dust on the door inside the bathroom was very deep. BBQ hut wasn’t very clean. Or had been cleared of ash and the tops were greasy.Lovely lodge but for the cost!!!!! Not a good standard at all. Why spend your holiday complaining and arguing when the promise of perfection encourages booking.
