We had issues with, the fridge was set so high it froze all our salad items making them inedible,it was difficult to hang our clothes due to owners clutter in walk in wardrobe and bed in second bedroom made it impossible to open the wardrobe door, several pots on the decking and either dead plants or weeds in. It was such a shame because otherwise it could have been a perfect place to stay. Good points comfy bed ,good shower and plenty of hot water .

Enjoyed our stay very much . Nice lodge which was well equipped. On arrival it appeared not to have been hoovered, however there was a problem with the vacuum cleaner, so maybe this was why . Beds very comfy and more importantly clean . Loved the hot tub but the decking could do with some work . Very bouncy obviously some timbers need replacing. The outside could do with some tlc . The shower room was clean with a lovely powerful shower . The speed ramps on the site were plentiful, so please go slowly as to not damage your car , we felt they were excessive. Old lodge but very clean and comfortable.

Our second time of staying in this lodge, a few minor issues which I have messaged the owner about but nothing that stopped us having a great time. We didn't get chance to use the outdoor seating much this time as the weather wasn't warm enough but we certainly made use of the hot tub which has the best booster bubbles I have seen, (don't forget to take extra towels as you only get 1 bath and hand towel each). Plenty of room in the lodge there was 4 adults and a small dog in our party and we had plenty of room. Bedrooms were a decent size and comfortable beds. The lodge is a minute walk from the Crazy Horse pub which is great if you don't want to cook and has entertainment and bingo on some nights. The site is in an ideal position just off the A1 (although once you are on the site you would not know this), loads of towns and beaches to visit within 30 mins away.
