Castle Walk in Amble is praised for its convenient location, tasteful decoration, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the prompt communication from the owners and the property's proximity to transport, shops, and the harbour. While some minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests willing to return.
The property is generally clean with fresh bedding, but some guests noted dust and an issue with overflowing bins outside. The cleanliness inside is satisfactory, though there is room for improvement.
The location is highly regarded for its ease of access to transport, shops, and local attractions. Its proximity to the marina and suitability for dog walking are also appreciated.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the living space pleasant. However, some have mentioned the property being cold at night and the lack of a handrail in the bathroom.
The furnishings are of a high standard, but there are concerns about kitchen utensils and safety issues in the bathroom. An outdated information folder and the need for better quality bathmats are also mentioned.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Tastefully decorated cottage with good quality furnishings well located for all Amble has to offer. The property is all on the ground level which does mean you have upstairs neighbours. We were able to park off street within 100m or so but there is no designated parking place. Definitely somewhere we would consider staying again if we want to be in this area.
