This is an unspoilt area with walks from the door, easily accessible for Rothbury, Morpeth and the fantastic coastline. Rothbury has a fine selection of pubs, tea rooms and an award winning butcher, Alnwick with the ducal castle famous for the scenes in Harry Potter, is only a few miles drive and a little further the coast can be easily reached. The cottages location gives you a feel of remoteness, yet it is only a short drive from the main road offering the best of both worlds. Golf courses and fishing are nearby, and the location suits cyclists, walkers and those wishing for a peaceful, relaxing environment after a day exploring this stunning and unspoilt friendly county.
