Visit the popular daytime fish restaurant, where you can enjoy great food and sit and watch the world go by or stop by an award winning bistro, an artisan ice cream shop and plenty of independent pop-up shops in the harbour village selling local art, produce and interesting gifts. Close to micro brewery that often has street food vans - stunning beers and food.
The medieval village of Warkworth, with its impressive castle ruins towering over the main street, can be reached within 10 minutes by car or a pleasant 45-minute walk. A little further, the golden beaches of Alnmouth and Druridge Bay. The historic market town of Alnwick, with its castle and stunning Alnwick Gardens, cobbled streets with independent shops, galleries and excellent eateries, can be reached very easily from Amble, making it the perfect seaside cottage to enjoy the immediate surroundings and to explore further afield. Beach 1 mile. Nearest pub and restaurant 3 to 4 mins walk.

A lovely 4 night stay with our 2 dogs.A great welcome pack, the beds were very comfortable although we prefer thicker pillows ( personal taste) A couple of the pans in the kitchen could do with replacing 1 had a wonky handle the other bit old tbh. The owners were lovely and it was a great base I would definitely recommend.and return to.
