The Loft is a first floor holiday apartment tucked away in a courtyard setting in the very centre of this popular, picturesque, historic village and is only 100 yards from the river, where you can sit and watch the world go by. This delightful village is dominated by its fine 12-century castle and riverside walks, with a wonderful medieval bridge nearby, waiting to be discovered. Only 1 mile from a sandy bay which stretches from Amble to Alnmouth in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set on the coastal route providing over 20 miles of golden sands. Alnwick Castle and gardens 6 miles. Boats trips to Coquet Island to view the seabirds from Amble only 2 miles. Ideal location for exploring all the North East counties. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Lovely accommodation very close to the center of Warkworth with good restaurants, recommend Bertrams for breakfast and evening meals. Some good walks from the Loft to local areas with maps to borrow if required. Good selection of books in the flat too. Very comfortable and quiet location. Will definitely go back to the loft.

The Loft was comfortable, warm and welcoming. Walking from the doorstep to riverside. Ideally located for visiting surroundings areas along the coastline.Public houses, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
