Lovely holiday cottage in a great location convenient to explore Northumberland.Hosts were very friendly and provided a lovely welcome with cakes and wine.Cottage was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Well decorated and very clean however there was a very strong dog smell throughout the ground floor which was a little overpowering. We do not have a dog and fully appreciate this cottage accepts dogs but still feel the smell was a little overbearing and have not experienced this before in other dog friendly cottages.Overall lovely cottage though and we would come back.

It is a lovely cottage, plenty of places to visit. There’s places to explore and to walk dogs. The people are friendly. Alnwick, Amble and Morpeth were nice towns to visit. Care needs to be taken when joining the A1.

Lovely house in a good location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative was the lack of grass in the outside area for our dogs. However the local park is just across the road so multiple trips each day served as good exercise for the dogs and for ourselves. The stay was made even better as we had an exceptionality good weather for the whole week. We will definitely return.
