It was very clean and well equipped. However, on a health and safety note, the steps to the front door are very steep and I feel really need a handrail as I, at 76, found them very difficult to climb. Also the toilet seat in the bathroom needs changing as it does not fit and again is not very safe.

Spotlessly clean on arrival, all kitchen equipment was very clean and fresh. Lounge and bedrooms very comfortable. Dog friendly with towel and bowls. Plenty of parking for two cars. Milk and biscuits waiting on arrival. Seahouses centre a 5 min walk. The old Bamburgh Castle Inn and the Craster Arms at Beadnell good for food. Lovely walk from Low Newton to Caster, calling at the Jolly Fisherman in Craster for an excellent Crab sandwich on then on return to Low Newton call at the Ship for a piece of delicious frui cake. Lovely holiday. Thank you
