Boat trips runs from the nearby harbour to the Farne Islands where you can see the nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. The golden, sandy beach is a short walk from the property, making Seahouses an ideal choice for a traditional family holiday.
The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, dominated by its dramatic fortress, is only 3 miles north and Beadnell Bay, popular for watersport enthusiasts, is under 2 miles and a pleasant walk. Heading a short drive inland to the market town of Alnwick, you will find the castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The stunning Alnwick Garden are also a popular visitor attraction and has the largest treehouse in Europe, where you can dine in the fabulous restaurant.
