To the front of the house is a comfortable porch with an occasional chair and views across to the sea, a perfect spot to sit with a cuppa and your favourite book.

Boat trips runs from the nearby harbour to the Farne Islands where you can see the nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. The golden, sandy beach is a short walk from the property, making Seahouses an ideal choice for a traditional family holiday.
The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, dominated by its dramatic fortress, is only 3 miles north and Beadnell Bay, popular for watersport enthusiasts, is under 2 miles and a pleasant walk. Heading a short drive inland to the market town of Alnwick, you will find the castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The stunning Alnwick Garden are also a popular visitor attraction and has the largest treehouse in Europe, where you can dine in the fabulous restaurant.

Small issue when we arrived but quickly sorted by the owner. Lovely warm house, the welcome basket was appreciated, and the comfiest bed. Had the best night's sleep in years! Well situated to walk to Seahouses, and had the benefit of parking for two cars.Large bay window where you can see the sea, and can imagine the garden in the summer is lovely!

We enjoyed our stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful when we contacted them. The property is in a good location and is spacious and comfortable with a large private garden. The property has a lot of potential to be outstanding but a few things let it down. Although these did not spoil our stay we are used to a high standard of accommodation. The Welcome pack didnt reflect the one in the photos (cheap bottle of Bucks Fizz, dishwasher tablets and dog treats- we dont have a dog) Despite a well equipped kitchen there were no oven gloves, only one tea towel and one bin bag. Some parts of the house were dusty. The shower is very hard to operate and the low water presure doesnt give a great experience. The Summerhouse in the garden is in need of repair and not available to use as advertised. The Sky package advertised was cancelled some time ago. The fire surround in the lounge is wobbly, light switch loose and cover mising from inside dishwasher tablet compartment.
