The property is on the seafront of the traditional fishing village of Seahouses and is ideal for one or two couples. The accommodation is immaculately presented and furnished to a very high standard with solid oak flooring throughout. The lounge enjoys a bright and airy ambience enhanced by two full height windows from which to admire the seascape directly opposite, with a door to the patio and seating outside. The kitchen diner is deceptively spacious and extremely well equipped with integrated appliances and a granite worktop. There is another window seat in the dining area to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. The seascape includes not only the Farne Islands but also Seahouses north beach with Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne (Holy Island) beyond. The two en-suite bedrooms both have king size beds with Egyptian cotton bedding from the White Company, making this prestigious property ideal for couples seeking superior accommodation.
Spindrift has uninterrupted views directly out to sea yet the amenities available within Seahouses are only a couple of hundred yards walk away and include tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops. Boat trips to the Farne Islands run from the nearby harbour, the islands are famous for their nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. Horse riding, a links golf course, kayak and surfboard hire, windsurfing, mountain and road cycling are all available nearby as well as coast and country walks in this outdoor playground.
The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, protected by its dramatic fortress, is a lovely two mile walk from the property door along the top of St Aidan’s dunes and onto wide expanses of golden, and often empty, sandy beaches. Just beyond Bamburgh is Budle Bay, where at low tide a vast expanse of mud flats is the home to countless thousands of sea and land birds making this bird sanctuary a haven for bird watchers.
The market town of Alnwick with its own castle offers many facilities a few miles inland. Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction with its grand cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe!
Spindrift, aptly named from watching the spray blown off the crest of the waves in an offshore wind directly opposite this beautiful apartment, is a perfect coastal retreat for those seeking quality accommodation. The property boasts dramatic sea views whilst being only a stone’s throw from the harbour and amenities of Seahouses village and is perfectly located to explore the Heritage coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The owners have provided all guests with corporate membership (at a nominal fee of £7 per adult, £4 per child) of The Ocean Club in Seahouses. Lovely ground floor apartment in Seahouses. Furnished to a high standard and close to the small harbour with several small shops and pubs. It’s a short stroll to a lovely dog friendly beach where you can walk all the way to Bamburgh. Property has designated parking and is just off the main road. We were there in January so it was quiet. I would imagine the road is fairly busy in the peak season. Would recommend.

Lovely well kept and spotlessly clean apartment. Tip top facilities which creates a home from home. View from the apartment overlooking the beach is fantastic. Only a short walk to shops, restaurants etc, plus its a great base to explore further within Northumberland. Have no hesitation in recommending this apartment...you won't be disappointed.
