Guests say

The Old Parish Hall in Seahouses is praised for its excellent location, peaceful surroundings, and spacious, comfortable accommodation. Guests appreciate the proximity to the beach, harbour, and local amenities, as well as the well-equipped kitchen and off-street parking. While most found the property clean and cosy, some noted areas needing maintenance and minor improvements, such as the garden not being fully enclosed and the shower pressure. Overall, the cottage offers a pleasant stay and is popular with families and dog owners.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with several positive mentions of cleanliness on arrival. However, a minority reported issues such as griminess and slug trails, indicating some inconsistency.

The location is highly praised, with guests loving the quiet setting, sea views, and easy walking access to Seahouses, the beach, and local attractions.

The cottage is generally described as comfortable, spacious, and cosy. Some guests mentioned soft or uncomfortable beds and minor issues with bedding, but most slept well and felt at home.

Facilities are mostly adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample parking. Some guests noted missing items (e.g., baking sheet, bath mat), tired décor, and maintenance issues such as a weak shower and boiler problems.

A guest mentioned finding and leaving a bath mat for future visitors, but as gifts or extras are not guaranteed, this cannot be relied upon. The host was responsive to issues, which was appreciated.
