Waggy Tails is a welcoming, pet-friendly property located in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Seahouses. With two separate living rooms, both situated on the ground floor, this semi-detached property is deceptively spacious. The cosy sitting room leads to the kitchen, where on arrival, guests will find complementary teas and coffee, and also giving direct access to a fully enclosed garden. The living room leads to the main dining area where sliding patio doors enhances its bright and airy ambience. Both bedrooms are on the first floor along with the bathroom and convenient separate toilet.
The main street of Seahouses is within easy walking distance where there is a small supermarket and a range of other local shops along with several places to eat. The golf course is on the links close by and horse riding can be arranged less than a mile inland. A gentle stroll brings you to the harbour where boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its puffins and seal colony, are a popular visitor attraction.
Two miles south is the beautiful golden sands of Beadnell Bay, very popular with water sports enthusiasts, whilst 3 miles up the coastline is the picture perfect village of Bamburgh, and the dramatic castle is well worth a visit. A few miles inland is the historic market town of Alnwick where there are a wide array of amenities available.
Waggy Tails is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful 20-mile stretch of Heritage coastline recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Top Tip: Eateries and restaurants can get booked very quickly so book in advance. Elan Pizzeria is a favourite but also do take away - a great first night bite.
Most supermarkets deliver to Waggy Tails -if you want to schedule a delivery - it saves a lot of hassle heading back out.
There is a security deposit of £100 to be paid to the owner 1 week prior to arrival.

Good location, just a few minutes walk from the Main Street and harbour. Spacious house, very comfortable sofas. The house was clean on the whole, but cobwebs and dust on some surfaces had been missed. Double bed comfortable for me, but not for my husband. The upstairs bathroom is in need of renovation & has a constantly dripping cold bath tap. Kitchen was bright and well equipped, but dust & greasy around cooker hood and air fryer. The space in the fully enclosed garden was good for our dogs to run around in, but on arrival we picked up a bag full of other dogs waste. The garden ideally needs a good tidy up and the interior could do with some TLC to bring it up to standard.

We enjoyed our stay at Waggy tails but felt that some parts of the property has been neglected and needs a little TLCOne suggestion I would like to make would be to use mattress protectors to preserve the mattress on the beds which were very comfortable Also perhaps a cordless vacuum cleaner which would be easier to carry upstairs These are only minor gripes which could easily be rectified We would stay here again as everything needed was in the property and it came with very well stocked welcome basket
