The Annex @ Garden House is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, and the property's suitability as a base for exploring Northumberland. While some mention minor issues with noise and access, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the property's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. This is a recurring compliment across the reviews.
The location is generally well-regarded for its proximity to local attractions and amenities. However, some guests found it slightly challenging to locate the property and mentioned the presence of steps, which could affect those with mobility issues.
The Annex is frequently described as comfortable, with comfortable furnishings and a cosy atmosphere. A few guests mentioned noise from the floor above and a soft bed, but these were minor points in otherwise positive feedback.
Facilities are praised for being well-equipped and maintained, with special mentions of the kitchen and shower. Some guests suggested improvements in heating instructions and recycling information, but overall, the facilities met guests' needs.
While many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome packs and gestures from the hosts, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future guests. The sentiment is positive, but as gifts are not assured, a score cannot be provided.

The facilities provided are excellent. Clean, comfortable, everything that you need for an enjoyable time is provided. Mention should be made of the generosity of the owners who reside above the annex. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was trouble free.
