It was ideally placed for exploring Northumberland and we would thoroughly recommend it. All you need is transport.

Hair washing difficult as no shower/mixer tap. Minor gripe about a perfectly serviceable cottage.

The cottage and surrounds were very comfortable and it is a great location for exploring the area. The follow-up by staff on any requests we made was quick and polite. Only criticisms of the cottage would be that the bathroom fan sounded on its last legs and the electric hob plates were poor which made cooking a meal on them difficult !
