First time in a cottage for us and it was beautiful. You have set the bar very high. It was perfect in every detail. Would definitely recommend 23.

An excellent stay, the photos and description don’t do this accommodation justice, it’s very spacious and comfortable. Local amenities, pubs, food and shopping are a 2min walk. A great place to stop when visiting, as we did, Berwick upon Tweed, Holy Island (Priory), Lindisfarne Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle, Warkworth Castle & Cragside House, all within 20 miles and 30mins drive, don’t bother with Chillingham Castle!

A truly wonderful cottage, beautifully decorated and perfectly located in Wooler. We had many wonderful walks in the surrounding hills and valleys. Leaflets on local information and walks provided. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the utensils you'll need plus salt, pepper, tea, instant coffee and foil etc were provided. A welcome pack of milk and cake were left for us which was nice. Bring your own Nespresso or equivalent original pods if you like coffee for the machine.Bedrooms and bedding were great. Bathroom was huge with a lovely heritage suite and double shower. Towels provided, although had some marks. Rooms had lamps and torches. Curtains aren't black out so you might need an eye masks.Large log burner and a few logs provided. Central heating was very effective. There's a very well stocked Co-op just around the corner and a bakery / butcher and several cafes on the High Street.Parking is tricky for larger vehicles. It's ok turning in but be cautious when exiting Peth Head. It's best to turn left and then reverse out to avoid hit a large stone and getting sandwiched between the corners of two stone houses!
