This beautifully renovated cottage, dating back to the 1840s, has been thoughtfully modernised in 2025, offering a warm and stylish holiday home with all the comforts you could need. Just a two-minute stroll from the beach, this cottage places you within easy reach of Redcar’s Esplanade, lined with sea-facing cafés, restaurants, traditional arcades, and ice cream parlours where you can sample the town’s famous lemon top ice cream.
Inside, the welcoming living room at the front of the cottage features a cosy sofa and armchairs arranged around the TV, perfect for unwinding after a day by the sea. The adjoining kitchen and dining area boasts a modern, well-equipped integrated kitchen, ideal for preparing delicious meals. At the rear, a south-facing enclosed patio with outdoor seating offers a lovely space to soak up the sunshine. Additionally, a converted outhouse provides secure storage for bikes, surfboards, fishing rods, and other outdoor equipment, making this an excellent base for water sports enthusiasts, from surfers to paddleboarders and wild swimmers. Stayed between Xmas and new year. lovely house and lovely place to stay. We had some lovely walks and meals out,Can’t fault the cottage at all it was so tidy and clean with everything you need, really close to beech, owner's are lovely too and really want to make you welcome will definitely be back, thank you **

We have had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Everything about this cottage is just fantastic. The quality of the furniture and fittings are the best I’ve seen in a holiday cottage, no expense spared. The cottage was immaculately presented on arrival, with a lovely little gift package too. The location is ideal for exploring this beautiful coast line. You receive a parking pass which enables you to park outside the front door. Honestly, absolutely everything has been so well thought out and you will absolutely love your stay here, so will your little furry friend (if you have one) We secured a very late booking here and the communication and generosity of the host is once again the very best I’ve experienced. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. In my opinion, it’s an absolute 5 star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you so much
