Take the oldest functioning cliff lift inthe UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. Ings Lane is within 35 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Sandsend, Whitby and Middlesbrough. It is also within walking distance of the Cleveland Way National Trail so you can explore lots of the coastline on foot easily.

You’ll find a couple of bus routes running through Brotton and the closest train station is Saltburn which is a short 5-minute drive by car. There are train routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York, Leeds and Manchester with connecting trains to Newcastle and London. All beds are made up with plush bedding and premium bed linens.

The family bathroom features a bathtub with a large overhead shower, along with a wash basin and WC.
