location very good giving easy acces to all attractions. apartment in dire need of attention, various fittings broken, lights not working, shower cubicle broken, no bath plug, mattreses very poor. on arrival the property smelt damp, there was no welcome pack or instructions on use of heating, no WiFi code, the allocated parking space was not accesible. the property had not been particularly well cleaned, carpets very dirty, cupboards and drawers dirty, various items from previous guests still there.

This flat was very spacious, had a parking space for one car and was very convenient for the South Pier, Sandcastle and Pleasure Beach. However, it was not clean, the pots and pans were unusable, the crockery and cutlery were either not hygienic or missing, and the kitchen was generally poorly appointed. Due to the lack of a plug, the bath couldn't be used. The flooring (laminate) had protruding screws and the metal joining strip in the kitchen/sitting area was broken. Due to the absence of a safe oven door, the oven couldn't be used. There was no suitable crockery to be used in the microwave. The kitchen cabinets were not clean, and in some cases, sticky. This has once been a well appointed flat, but seems to have been neglected, and lacks attention to detail. I should have paid more attention to the lack of reviews before booking. If there had been a physical visitors book in the property, I could have pointed out that there seems to be a worrying leak in the family bathroom. If there had been a welcome pack I would have known how the heaters worked, how the hot water worked and who to contact about the lack of sufficient towels for the four of us, and the missing pillow cases. It was a shame that, for the want of proper cleaning and checking that the required items are present, this could be a good base for a visit to Blackpool.
