Wendy and Dave were the perfect hosts. They met us on arrival at the property, informed us of all the places to visit close by, including places to eat and drink. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners - plenty of fridge space too.Beds are comfy, we all slept so well. Comfy sofas too! Lovely bathroom, the shower had 2 different head options and the water pressure was great.The garden is a lovely place to just sit and watch time go by but the hot tub was a wonderful addition to a beautiful place. It was maintained with chemicals on a regular basis meaning that it was clean and relaxing for our whole stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Wendy and Dave, if we needed to ask something they helped us out with it quickly. Will definitely be back in the future as it made a wonderful base for our adventures round the Peak District

had a great stay at ruskin wendy and dave great hosts there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.and the town centre is a lovely area to visit.eat out so did not use cooker ect but plenty of space fridge wise if you do eat in .and last but not least the hot tub was lovely in the eveing after a days outing. would highly recommend and was a good price for the week.also local taxi firm good and also reasonable price

Dave and Wendy were there to meet meet us after a long journey and explained and showed us everything we needed to know about the cottage and useful information about the surrounding area , the cottage itself was perfect for our stay well equipped and in a very nice area with everything you need on your doorstep and the main town within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants and shops and takeaways home from home and hopefully will have a return visit in the near future
