Upon entering the home, you will find an open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining space for four guests, and a sitting area. After cooking up a delicious dinner, dine at the table, load your dishes into the dishwasher, and settle down to watch a film on the TV in the sitting area. When sleep calls, two double bedrooms rest upstairs, one of which with a Velux window allowing in plenty of light, and each light and airy and perfect for catching some shut-eye. Back on the ground floor, you can soak away a day of walking in the bathroom, or if you prefer, freshen up in the walk-in shower before heading back out for an evening meal. You will also have access to the owner's grounds, where you can spend some time in the fresh air and admire the local wildlife in the tranquillity. The village of Tilston is situated on the upper reaches of the River Dee, located between the medieval city of Chester and the market town of Whitchurch. Close by is the Carden Park Hotel with a superb 5 star leisure spa and golf course. Chester is just 14 miles away, and this Roman city has quite rightly been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the city is that within a very small area there is evidence of every period of history - from the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed town houses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture. The City has much to offer the tourist, including excellent shopping in the famous 'Rows', and lovely walks around the old Roman Walls, along The Groves beside the River Dee or through the picturesque Grosvenor Park. Further afield, the stunning Welsh mountains and coastline, and the market towns and villages of Cheshire, Shropshire and Wrexham are all within easy touring distance, whilst the nearby Wirral Peninsula has many splendid courses to tempt the golfing enthusiast.
