Weetwood Lodge in Tarporley is highly praised for its cleanliness, idyllic location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the hosts, the beautiful views, and the proximity to local attractions and amenities. While the lack of Wi-Fi is noted, the overall experience is deemed peaceful and welcoming, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay.
The lodge is celebrated for its beautiful rural setting with stunning views, good local amenities, and convenient access to attractions, though some guests mention a long bus journey to Liverpool.
The accommodation is frequently described as comfortable and peaceful. However, one guest mentioned the beds being too soft and the shower lacking power, which suggests room for improvement.
While the cottage is well-equipped and guests are generally satisfied, the absence of Wi-Fi is a recurring concern, and there are not enough reviews discussing other facilities to provide a comprehensive score.
Hosts are commended for their welcoming touches, such as homemade biscuits and wine. However, it's important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed.

We had such a lovely stay at Weetwood. Gavin and Gillian were spectacular and so incredibly helpful. My only point of concern is that there was no wifi on site. I appreciate the sentiment that we should all be off our devices and speak face to face more often, but that's not the only reason wifi has become a necessity. I was not able to access my emails sufficiently for work, or take care of those little things such as bill payments or securing tickets for attractions we wanted to see while in the area. Had wifi been available I would have been able to conveniently do those tasks. Keeping in touch with kids and grandkids back home is also something that I wasn't able to do while on site due to the lack of wifi.Would I stay again? Absolutely if I knew I didn't need a connection, so my stay would be limited. If there was a wifi connection, I would be happy to stay a month in that area. It was absolutely delightful.

Gillian and Gavin are our personal superhosts. The cottage is just perfect. Beautiful sunsets on the huge Terrace, accompanied by a pheasant and the bats come out in the evenings. Go for it
