Enjoying a delightful location on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Tarnside Park surrounds a freshwater tarn.
Sea and freshwater fishing (NRA licence required) and launderette* available for all dates.
Located in the small village of Braystones and adjacent to the beach, this is the ideal place for an away from it all holiday.
The Lake District National Park is 6 miles away while Muncaster Castle, the Ravenglass - Eskdale Miniature Railway and the Georgian towns of Whitehaven and Cockermouth are all within easy driving distance.

Group Bookings/Party Types
Due to the nature of this location, Tarnside Park will not accept any group bookings under the age of 25/single sex groups/stag or hen parties.

A gorgeous lodge in a fantastic location! We really loved our holiday here. The lodge is tucked away in a quiet corner and has lovely views. It was very clean and well equipped, really spacious and had comfy beds. The site itself is very quiet and off the beaten track, so if you're looking for loads to do on your doorstep then it's maybe not for you. But we loved it, we were wanting a relaxing break and that's what we got. The beach is a 2 min walk and there was hardly anyone there, even though the weather was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.
