Chapel House is a spacious and beautifully presented cottage, ideal for family gatherings and group stays. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. The property is peaceful, with easy access to Maryport and local amenities, and features such as a pool table and enclosed garden are especially appreciated. While some mention creaky floorboards and minor issues with cutlery, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as spotlessly clean and impeccably maintained, with no significant complaints regarding cleanliness.

The cottage is praised for its peaceful setting and proximity to Maryport and local amenities. Some guests note limited local amenities and that Maryport itself is not particularly attractive, but overall the location is considered convenient.

Guests frequently mention the comfort of the beds, spacious rooms, and the welcoming atmosphere. Minor negatives include creaky floorboards, but these do not detract significantly from overall comfort.

The house is described as well-equipped, with a large kitchen, pool table, and secure garden. Some guests mention a need for more cutlery and glasses, and note creaky floorboards, but facilities are generally highly rated.

Several guests appreciated welcome packs with items such as prosecco and shortbread, and the owners are described as helpful and responsive. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

We had a lovely family weekend here, the children enjoyed all the space indoors and outside. The kitchen is well equipped. We visited Maryport and Keswick which are not too far for a day trip. There is a local shop and takeaway which was great value. We loved watching the rabbits on the field at the back of the garden. We would highly recommend this property.

We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The owners were very helpful indeed and very friendly. We appreciated the effort that had gone into making the garden area a lovely place to sit and a secure place for our dog to play.Everyone had a go on the pool/snooker table and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.A little bit more cutlery and glasses would have been good for a larger group of guests.

Mostly well equipped with exceptions including very poor quality cutlery. Remarkably spacious house and rooms. Nice if rather small and partly overlooked garden. Local amenities limited especially as local pub was mostly shut but local shop was useful. Good parking and access to local places though Maryport is not very attractive.
