A lovely old station building right on the side of the quaint railway.Well equipped cottage and , had the weather been warmer, we would have sat out in the decked/ garden area.Nice walk to the beach area with its lovely cafe.Enjoyed exploring this part of Cumbria and found a lot of lovely things to do and see.Recommend, Ravenglass Railway, Muncaster Castle, Whitehaven (The beacon Museum) and a coastal train trip.

Outside needed some TLC. Grass not cut quite long. Weeds in outside pots, and on the path. Old wooden garden chairs stacked in corner of lawn, old wooden garden table on patio. There was a new garden table and chairs on patio. Also another table on patio that was rusty.Inside the kitchen the cutlery drawer had pastry flakes in it and the drawers needed a good wipe. The hob had a few blobs of grease on it.The tea tray had coffee grinds/tea leaves in it and there was a dish of sugar left. The bathroom had a mat for in the shower which was very dirty and unhygienic. Needs a good scrub or replacement.Living room, one of the window panes had 2 long dribbles down it on the inside. This didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay at the property.Everything else was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable.

Was so handy for the train which we went on south a couple of days. Apart from the couple of problems with TV and no microwave the property offered so much
