Not only is the Lake District National Park a short drive away, but from here it’s also easy to explore the great border city of Carlisle, Hadrian’s Wall and Scotland. We had a wonderful stay at the Bothy. The setting was absolutely beautifulpeaceful, private, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and the property had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Its in a great location with the lakes within an hour. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making the experience even better. We can't wait to come back again already! Thank you:)

Excellent holiday cottage in a lovely, peaceful location. Loved the tranquility and just sitting out in the back garden. The cottage had everything we needed, along with a really comfy bed. We enjoyed watching the wide variety of garden birds who visited everyday. We saw a woodpecker, nuthatch and tree creeper along with finches and loads of blue tits. The hot tub was lovely to relax in on an evening. Our host, Wayne was friendly and helpful. A great, roomy cottage where we totally recharged our batteries. Would highly recommend
