We stayed here for a week as a base to visiting the Lake District but without being in the very touristy areas and coming from Scotland it was very easy to get to and find with various Supermarkets in nearby Workington.It is a lovely newish little site with very well spaced out lodges each having parking and lovely countryside views. We were met on arrival and shown to our lodge and how to use the hot tub and heating etc and given our much appreciated welcome pack.Our lodge was very nice and modern, well laid out, clean and still in as new condition and was well equipped.I really liked the hot tub, I personally found it more comfortable than some of the bigger deeper tubs you get it in most other places. I would have liked some screening round it but as you are far enough away from other lodges it was fine.

We had the best weekend in Scafell lodge a month ago. The lodge was beautifully decorated, immaculate, and really well equipped with a smart tv, electric fire, hot tub etc. John who checked us in was lovely and helpful, and came straight out to help with a minor issue. We'll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone! It was so reasonable in price for a luxurious weekend. Thank you x
