Guests say

This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Rosemary Cottage in Carnforth is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location for exploring Cumbria and Yorkshire. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, thoughtful touches, and the property's suitability for dogs. The garden and local wildlife add to the charm, with the log fire and modern bathroom receiving special mentions. Some minor issues were noted, but overall, guests report a delightful stay.

Cleanliness

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting the exceptional cleanliness. One mention of a faint smell in a cupboard suggests a minor issue, but this does not detract significantly from the overall high standards reported.

Location

The location is frequently praised for its peacefulness, proximity to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and other attractions. The convenience of local walks and wildlife sightings contribute to the positive feedback. However, one mention of parking concerns slightly impacts the score.

Comfort

Comfort is a strong point for Rosemary Cottage, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the living spaces cosy, especially with the log fire. The well-furnished rooms and the garden's relaxing environment are appreciated. A single comment about the lack of initial heating on arrival is noted.

Facilities

The cottage is celebrated for its well-kitted and fully stocked facilities, including a modern bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and entertainment options. The enclosed garden is a bonus for dog owners. The absence of a downstairs toilet is the only facility improvement suggested.

Thoughtfulness

The owner's personal communication and the provision of various amenities, including dog clogs and walking sticks, demonstrate thoughtfulness. While gifts are not explicitly mentioned, the attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable stay is evident. It is politely noted that such personal touches are not guaranteed.
