Guests say

The Hayloft is a charming cottage offering a peaceful stay amidst nature and farm life. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and the warm welcome, including thoughtful touches like milk, biscuits, and wine. The lack of WiFi is seen as a bonus by some, enhancing the tranquil experience. The property serves as a good base for exploring the North Yorkshire and Westmorland countryside.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean and cosy, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The property is praised for its quiet location on a working farm, offering a relaxing atmosphere and proximity to countryside attractions, though the lack of WiFi and mobile signal is noted.

The cottage is generally found to be comfortable and well-equipped, but one guest experienced discomfort with the bed, and another had an unfortunate fall due to an unmarked step.

While the kitchen and bathroom facilities are mentioned positively, there are mixed comments about entertainment options and some issues with maintenance like heating and electricity outages, but no sufficient detail to score accurately.

Guests are touched by the thoughtful welcome gifts, although it should be noted that such gestures are at the hosts' discretion and may not be guaranteed.

Wonderful place to spend time at. Note that you won't get WiFi but that was a bonus for us. Lovely place to set off from for North Yorkshire and Westmoreland countryside.
