Guests say

Westmorland Lodge is highly praised for its stunning surroundings, excellent location, and comfortable amenities. Guests have enjoyed the peaceful setting, the proximity to local attractions, and the welcoming atmosphere. The lodge's cleanliness, modern facilities, including a jacuzzi and a well-maintained hot tub, contribute to a relaxing stay. The thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, have been appreciated, although it's noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

Guests consistently mention the lodge's excellent cleanliness, with one describing it as 'spotless'. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall experience.

The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with its quiet setting and proximity to attractions like Cartmel Races and Windermere. It serves as a great base for exploring Cumbria.

Comfort is a strong point for the lodge, with guests finding it very comfortable and well-suited to their needs. The powerful heating and the modern lodge burner add to the cosy atmosphere.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the hot tub and the lodge burner. However, the score is slightly lowered due to the mention of inconvenient check-in/out times.

While guests have appreciated the welcome pack, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts will always be provided.
