We were welcomed by Leanne shortly after we arrived. She was on hand if we needed anything but otherwise left us to our holiday. The Pods are actually spacious, didn't feel cramped. We had a small TV to watch on a comfortable sofa. The underfloor heating provided enough warmth and we had all the amenities we needed. Thank you for a lovely few days with lovely views!

We had a wonderful stay at The Ash. The Shepod was cosy, clean and really well equipped. The location is stunning, on a working farm and there are walks straight from the pod. Leanne is a fantastic host, sending us directions before we arrived, providing a delicious afternoon tea and giving recommendations for walks in the area. Our arrival was delayed by a day due to my partner being unwell. Leanne was really understanding and gave us the option of staying another night, which we really didn’t expect. We will definitely be booking again so that we can explore more of the area!

Absolutely love the shepherd pod. It's a perfect location if you love the outdoors. Great for dogs too. Very compact, but the pod had everything I needed. I travel with an air fryer, which was useful because there is no oven. Worth noting there is no phone signal here (EE) but their WiFi is very good. I was able to do a teams meeting without an issue. There are no shops nearby, or pubs. It's quite remote. Nearest town is Kirkby Stephen, with a great co-op. The owners are close by if you need anything. Leanne is lovely. Very respectful of your privacy and non intrusive. Highly recommend for a quiet stay with lots of walking.
