An attractive, semi-detached holiday cottage, located amongst beautiful countryside scenery, on the outskirts of the pretty village of Silverdale. Sympathetically converted and renovated, this delightful Silverdale cottage is full of character and charm and provides a superb base for exploring this quiet and peaceful area. This charming Silverdale cottage features a spacious sitting room with gas stove, a well-equipped kitchen/diner and three cosy bedrooms, making it an ideal romantic getaway, and a perfect base for enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. Discover beautiful, scenic walks from the doorstep, or enjoy a drink in the traditional old country pubs in the village, just a short stroll away, before returning to the cosy rooms, or spacious garden of this delightful Silverdale holiday cottage. Nearby, Arnside offers wonderful views across Morecambe Bay to Grange-over-Sands, and the branch line runs across the estuary via the viaduct to the town, making for an interesting day trip. A walk to NT-owned Arnside Knott, through the woods up to the Pepper Pot at Silverdale, will immerse you in the sights and sounds of this lovely Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Birdwatchers at this Silverdale cottage will enjoy a visit to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve, just a short walk away, while golfers will enjoy Silverdale Golf Club, several minutes' from the property. The breathtaking Lake District is within easy reach, with lakes, tarns and pikes to explore. A lovely welcoming cottage in Silverdale, for a relaxing break throughout the year.
Situated on the shores of Morecambe Bay, the pretty and quiet coastal village of Silverdale is within easy driving distance of Both Silverdale and Arnside – each town being host to a good selection of shops, cafes and pubs. The local area surrounding the village is a paradise for nature lovers and boasts stunning limestone pavements, wonderful woodland walks through countryside and numerous rare plants, trees and wildlife, as well as the internationally renowned Leighton Moss rspb Reserve, situated just one mile from Silverdale itself. Further afield but still within easy touring distance are the Lake District and Lune Valley as well as the stunning Yorkshire Dales and The Forest of Bowland.
