Cleanliness received mixed reviews, with several guests noting areas that could be improved, such as the presence of cobwebs and a need for deeper cleaning. However, clean towels and bedding were consistently mentioned, suggesting a satisfactory level of cleanliness in some aspects.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful lakeside views and tranquility. It is also noted for its convenience to local attractions and amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring the Lake District.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the lodge cosy. However, some guests noted that the living space could be cramped for larger groups and that the bathroom facilities could be improved.
