My 6th stay at Waterside retreat in under a year and my 7th already booked for next month! The apartment is very well prepared by the excellent cleaning team in advance and communication from the owner prior to each stay is wonderful too. Love the sitting out area on the sunny days enjoying a coffee outside watching the ducks/swans and of course boats moving in and around the marina.A lovely pub with excellent food on site and Carnforth/Bolton le sands, just a few minutes drive away. Plenty to explore in the area. Highly recommended!!

Well What a wonderful week we picked for our second visit to this lovely apartment.Its such a calming place to be I find, This would suit couples who like to walk plenty of them from the marina, or just relax and sit on the balcony and read and watch the world go by.The local literally a stones throw away serve good food, if you prefer to eat in, the well equipped kitchen has all you need to cater for that.looking forward to our next visit already booked.

Another enjoyable stay at this marina side cottage. It is outstanding in its comfort and the dominating couch in the living room is fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped with many extra touches that you don’t find in many holiday cottages. This property is highly recommended and I’m counting down the weeks to my next stay,
