Guests have had a largely positive experience at Yealands 27, praising its peaceful location, cleanliness, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. The lodge is well-equipped and comfortable, offering a convenient base for exploring the surrounding areas. While there was an isolated complaint about cleanliness and flies, the majority of reviews reflect a well-maintained and welcoming property.
Most guests found the lodge to be clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, one review mentioned issues with cleanliness, including an unpleasant smell and flies, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for being peaceful and central to local attractions, making it an ideal spot for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas.
Guests have reported the lodge to be very comfortable, with a special mention of the decking area. One guest noted an issue with the shower facilities not being as described, which impacts those with mobility issues.
The lodge is described as well-equipped and immaculate, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. A minor deduction is made due to a guest's disappointment regarding the cost of the pool and the presence of dogs in a nearby restaurant.
Several reviews mention the hosts' thoughtfulness, including welcome treats such as biscuits and wine. While these gestures are appreciated, it's important to note that such extras are a courtesy and not guaranteed.
