The owner keeps chickens, horses and alpacas, and the cottage provides the perfect holiday retreat. There is an abundance of things for guests to see and do throughout both the Yorkshire Dales and the Ribble Valley.

The Leeds and Liverpool Canal runs across the bottom of the fields at Hollin Bank, providing a lovely walk from the cottage, as well as fishing on the canal bank (licence required); boat trips along the canal can also be arranged. Hollin Bank Cottage is the ideal location for both walkers and cyclists, or even those just wanting to sit and take in the glorious views from the property. The Pendle Way and The Historic Waterways walks both pass close by and the Pennine Way is just 2 miles away.

Other highlights within close proximity include the lovely market town of Skipton, 10 miles, Haworth and Brontë Country, 14 miles, Settle, 16 miles and the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, 30 miles.
