The cottage is in perfect order, clean and with everything you could want. Nice and warm. The patio and the garden would be pleasant in good weather, but not for our January visit. Janet and Danny make you feel welcome without being intrusive. We wanted a week away, and didn't intend to do much, so this was just right.

It is beautiful. The owners (Janet and Dan) are very friendly and helpful, but respectful of your privacy. Janet and Dan provided a lovely 'welcome pack', including an excellent homemade lemon drizzle cake! The cottage is stylish, very comfortable and well equipped. It is ideally situated for walks and trips out in the Forest of Bowland and The Yorkshire Dales, each having many walking routes of varying ability. There are numerous pubs around the area offering excellent food, including The Coach and Horses, The Rum Fox and the The Inn at Whitewell, to name but a few. We would definitely stay here again.
