We had a lovely short break in The Stable, visiting friends nearby. It is very small and cosy but had everything we needed. We were very warm and the views were beautiful.

It’s was our second stay at The Stable, and it was equally as good as the first time,It is cosy and home from home with everything you need for a relaxing break. It was storm Claudia while we were there and whilst blowing a gale with horizontal rain, we were as sung as a bug. The bed is super comfy !! It was just a 5 minute drive into Whalley with some nice pubs and wine bar, and we did do the walk up and down Dale to the pub at Wiswell, (in the nice weather on first visit) then walked along the main road and up the B road and track to come back - it’s a workout if you’re not used to it! We will be returning for sure. Great place to recharge your batteries.
