New for 2022 is this stunning lodge with a double bedroom with en suite, and the second bedroom can be configured as either a double or twin bedroom, bathroom, open plan lounge/dining area and well-equipped kitchen, French doors to a private decked area with sunken hot tub and seating area. The kitchen features a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is also a utility room with a sink for washing boots. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Early check-in at 2pm is available at this site but must be booked and paid for at least 1 week prior to arrival. Due to the fact that lodges need to be cleaned and hot tubs drained, cleaned and refilled after every guest has vacated, check-in time is strictly 3pm onwards at this site unless an early check-in has been booked prior to arrival".
There will be that routine grounds maintenance being undertaken on the lakes to remove reeds growing in the lakes. This will be undertaken in all the lakes on site and should not affect your stay in any way apart from the slight noise of the machinery on site.

Visited here during half term - family with 2 children age 11 and 15.Accommodation was spacious and clean. Nice to have beds made on arrival and towels included. The dressing gowns and slippers were appreciated too.No coat hangers in the wardrobes which was a little strange. There were enough drawers and shelves to put things- we did pick some coat hangers up the following day when we were out. The fridge was also missing the shelves in the door which was bizarre. There is a smart TV but despite multiple attempts, we were unable to get it to connect- not a massive issue in all fairness as we were just watching the Winter Olympics on the main channels. Lots of work happening on the site- we were woken the day after we arrived by drilling at 8:30am in the lodge next door. This continued all morning. It felt hard to relax with workmen in such close proximity. We were not advised about this and if we had been, we would probably have reconsidered our accommodation choice. This work is due to continue for some time by the look of the site. We visited the nearby pub for a meal- this is walking distance and was so good. We also ordered pizza from the takeaway across from the site. We visited Fleetwood, Morecambe, we had the best fish and chips ever and also had a trip to Blackpool. We parked in Cleveleys and caught the tram. Lots of nice walks along the different sea fronts even though it was freezing cold!The hot tub at the lodge was one of the nicest we have ever had on this type of holiday. We would love to return but not until the construction work is finished.

We have just returned from a lovely break for half term. The lodge was well equipped with everything we could need and even had a little welcome box for our dog which was so nice! The lodge was clean and the facilities were great - hot tub and smart tv with all the apps (although live tv wasn’t working for us but we don’t really watch it anyway). The location is great with lots to do in the area and close to Blackpool centre. Only negative is nothing else on site such as a cafe for example but overall great experience and we would return.
