Littleborough is surrounded by natural beauty, with many attractions within an hour’s drive. Nearby Hollingworth Lake is a much-loved beauty spot where you can enjoy all the cafe bars and restaurants only 10 min drive or 40 min walk away on the canal or enjoy a picnic, day of fishing, water sports or relaxing stroll around the picturesque lake. For those interested in history, the Rochdale Pioneers Museum is a must see, as it documents the birthplace of the modern co-operative movement. You can take a walk in the Pennine hills which is direct from your front door or explore the neighbouring charming towns of Todmorden and artsy Hebden Bridge.
A scenic drive from Hebden Bridge over the moors takes you to Haworth where the Parsonage Museum commemorates the famous Bronte family who lived there. Had a great stay here, couldn’t have asked for any more. Great communication from Joanne before and throughout our stay, the cottage was absolutely spotless. The hot tub and surrounding areas were so peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Absolutely superb elevated location with sweeping hillside views, did not feel like we were in Rochdale at all. Would never get tired of those views, more so from the relaxing wooden Hot tub that looks out. Arrived after dark, would have been easier to find if lit up. The Cottage itself is lovely, very modern whilst managing to retain some original character.Some great features, under floor heating, large shower and very comfy master bed, has everything you could need. Modern kitchen and sky light. Living room seating very chic but could be a little more comfortable.Decor very well thought out.There is a pub a stones throw away that we didn't get to try but looked nice.Alpaca walks right infront of the Cottage, great for the kids. Hollingworth Lake 10 minute drive away, lovely walk round and some lovely areas and villages in short driving distance.Canal walks. Supermarkets fairly close.Book if available, ticks all the boxes.Host really helpful, good communication.

The Stables is a great place to stay, as it’s in a beautiful rural location, but still close to Littleborough. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and it’s a lovely place to unwind at the end of each day.
