A superb stone cottage in a beautiful location close to the river Derwent and set against Calver's fantastic gritstone edge.
A wonderful stone cottage positioned in a beautiful location close to the glistening River Derwent that flows along the valley. Stanton Lodge makes great accommodation, with its attractive and spacious lounge/diner, well equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms you will be all set to explore its surroundings.
Set in the village of Baslow, you’re not far from local attractions and sights to see. Stroll into Baslow and browse the village shops, stop in for lunch at one of the local restaurants or a pint in one of the friendly pubs. You may want to hop in the car and explore famous Chatsworth House, historic Haddon Hall or sample Bakewell’s famous Pudding. Calver is popular, home to the Bridge Inn, Calver Craft Centre and why not take a hike up to Calver Edge to soak up the beautiful views.
When you return to base, enjoy a glass of something special on the cottage courtyard and watch the sun set over the Peaks.
