A lovely stone cottage set in an acre of grounds in a secret little valley just down from the centre of picturesque Kniveton village.
Hidden in a secret valley and set within an acre of grounds is this magnificent 16th century stone cottage. Beautifully renovated and fished to a high standard, each room is superbly decorated with raw original features. The lounge with its brick fireplace and the log burner aglow, you’ll feel relaxed and content. An attractive dining room and well fitted kitchen will really make you feel at home. Unique bedrooms, finished with designer soft furnishings will be the ideal space to recharge after a day's adventures. Sit outside on the patio to either have your morning coffee or enjoy lunch, all whilst staring in awe at the fantastic views that surround you for miles.
If you can bear to tear yourself away from this wonderful cottage, then you’re in for a real treat. Being just down from the centre of Kniveton you’re not far from some fantastic local walks, including up to Madge Hill. A short drive away is Wirksworth, a magnet for lovers of history and heritage. Kniveton is only 3 miles away from the market town of Ashbourne, with more than two-hundred listed buildings, you’ll want to explore it’s fascinating history and architecture. Browse the country shops, antique shops and art galleries. A little further afield is Buxton and Bakewell - both great places to explore. Or visit the grand Chatsworth House, the historic Haddon Hall or grab a ride on the Peak Rail’s steam train.
