Kestrel cottage is in a lovely quiet enclave but still within easy reach of Holmfirth. The cottage itself is nice with a pristine bathroom including bath which is good to have and spacious shower cubicle. We felt it needs a couple of improvements - the bed is not very comfortable so a better quality mattress is needed. The downstairs has no blinds/curtains at the window - it would be cosier to have these and i imagine would keep the place cooler on hot summer days and make it more private. The kitchen crockery and equipment could do with a refresh - extra dinner plates, glasses for example. Otherwise it's great and the outdoor area will be nice to sit out on summer days with its pretty raised flower bed.
