..the charm extended beyond, as the views were wonderful too. A perfect, dog friendly stay too...quiet walks on the doorstep. Freshly baked, delicious scones, jam and butter greeted me as well as all the essentials for a good cuppa and more besides in a well equipped kitchenette. Lashings of hot water, a bath (my go to!) and a very comfy bed for a peaceful nights sleep. Super hosts, there if needed but not intrusive..good parking for guests too. Enjoyed a chat with David whilst he was tending the pretty garden.... Looking forward to returning back to the cottage to explore more of such a lovely area.

We were impressed by the cottage and the space therein all rooms being a really good size. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and well equipped with lovely surrounding gardens and wonderful views of the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone as it is perfect for local walks and others within a fifteen minute drive. You may often find David working in the garden who will gladly chat about the area and local history. We can also highly recommend Lee's House for a super Chinese takeaway which we feel is simply the best Chinese we have ever had.
