Bank Pottery is a lovely cottage snuggled up on the side of Dove Dale with incredible views way out across the valley. As you leave the Ashbourne to Buxton road and head for the cottage there is something almost magical as you 'drop over the edge' into the Dale with its dramatic hills and lovely sparkling river.

Locations don't come much better than this and nor does the cottage with its comfortable furnishings, sunny conservatory, log - burning stove and magnificient views. A perfect base for exploring the Peak District.

Get up early on your first morning and watch the sun light up the beautiful valley. Have a scrumptious breakfast in the conservatory to set yourselves up for a hard day's exploring. Wander across to the lovely village of Longnor for elevenses in the village cafe, to buy a lunchtime picnic from the 'real' village store, or to browse around the really interesting craft centre. And then just head out on the numerous local footpaths and lose yourselves.  

Cottage facilities:

A cosy, beamed lounge with glowing log burning stove, comfortable cottage -style suite, T.V. DVD and WiFi. A large conservatory with table and chairs. A well fitted dining kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A utility room with automatic washer and tumble-dryer. A lovely double bedroom with fantastic views over the valley. A smaller double bedroom. A nice bathroom with small bath/shower over and W.C.

Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, power and fuel for the stove are included.  A cot and high chair can be requested.There is an attractive garden with furniture. Parking for two cars is available. Dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult.

Weekly bookings are normally from Friday to Friday but short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas and New Year. 

Bank Pottery and the Potting Shed can be booked together to sleep six.
