Located in the countryside above Mellor/Marple Bridge, the cottage affords lovely views towards Kinder Scout and is just a 30-minute drive from Edale, which was recently named as the nation’s favourite place for a countryside walk. Outside there are two patio areas to sit out and chill and take in the views. Marple Bridge and New Mills, both within close proximity, offer a full range of amenities and eateries, whilst Mellor also has a couple of pubs both serving food. The Roman Lakes are popular with anglers, walkers and cyclists alike whilst the small town of Marple boasts two railway stations taking you into Manchester Piccadilly. Enjoy a shopping day out or simply tour the pubs and bars. Experience history and theatre, and even fine dining. The spa town of Buxton is worth visiting, along with Chatsworth House, Castleton and the Blue John Mines. The market town of Glossop, a short drive away, offers a range of independant shops, supermarkets and cafes. Bakewell and Eyam are two lovely places to explore too as is Hayfield and New Mills, with the Sett Valley Trail.
