We had a wonderful stay at Y Gadlas – Barcud Coch. The pod was cosy, clean, well-equipped and set in a stunning location with beautiful mountain and countryside views. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. During our stay we visited King Arthur’s Cave, the beach, and even climbed Snowdon, making for a truly memorable holiday.Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the wood-firedhot tub because of the very hot weather, but we completely understood the safety reasons. The owners were very understanding and kindly refunded us £50, which was much appreciated. There were also quite a few flies due to the rural setting, but the owner responded quickly by providing fly sticky tape.Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable break in a beautiful part of Wales. We’d happily recommend this pod to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape and would love to return in the future.

We stayed here for three nights while exploring the local area. The cabin was made available to us slightly early by Awela, who was more than accommodating. It was beautifully presented, in a lovely location, and the complimentary Welsh cakes were a thoughtful touch. They were very much enjoyed after our journey. The cabin itself is really spacious, and the log-fired hot tub was fantastic too. While we were in the area, we visited ZIP World, Cadair Idris, Llandudno, Betws-y-Coed, Llangollen, and many other local attractions. It was a great base for exploring. We would definitely recommend Barcud Coch, and we'll most likely be back again ourselves.Thank you!

Was an absolute fantastic place to stay. Lovely and clean and the view is amazing if you love being in the country. The cabin has everything you could want for your holiday and the shower is lovely and hot. The hot tub was easy to use and got hot so quickly. We will definitely be back in the future.
