Has everything we needed. Not one thing bad to add.

Location is excellent for exploring. The access to the parking at the rear is extremely narrow and difficult to negotiate but there is alternative parking below which is fine. Suggest you flag up the alternative in the "blurb"! The owner was wonderfully helpful and can't be praised too highly.

Modern decor Spacious accommodation Comfy beds and lots of bedroom storage Owners friendly to deal with via text Cons: No where in the garden or paddock is secure at all for small dogs, we had to put her on her harness and lead and go out with her every time she needed to go to the toilet. This was very inconvenient, especially as I’d phoned Sykes specifically to ask about this and been told it was secure. The driveway is very narrow to get in - no mention of this in the listing. We have a VW Golf and it was tight for us. Larger vehicles would really struggle. The majority of the house was clean - sinks, floors, furniture etc but small areas have been neglected - skirting boards dirty, corners of bathroom dirty, black mould in the shower. The electric shower pressure is very very low. Only one double plug socket with small extension lead in master bedroom, and it wasn’t near the mirror for drying hair etc. We had to order a 5m extension lead off Amazon. Only one toilet roll provided in each bathroom, had to buy own extras after that. Also no kitchen roll provided. The front of the hob was damaged - has a small jagged chunk out the front, potential injury hazard. Conservatory interior door handle was broken off and just left on the side - step daughter got trapped inside twice. External front door, conservatory exterior door and bathroom window all need adjusting - difficult to shut / operate. Being picky just so owners can improve issues / so future guests are aware before they book.
