Guests say

Pentre Cwm Bach is a charming, rustic cottage set in a stunning and peaceful countryside location, perfect for relaxation and wildlife watching. Guests consistently praise the beautiful views, cosy atmosphere, and well-equipped facilities. The cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable, with many appreciating the attention to detail. While the access track is rough and there are some low beams and steps, these are minor compared to the overall experience. The property is ideal for couples and dog owners, with plenty to explore nearby. The owners are noted as friendly and helpful, making for a welcoming stay.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean, with one guest mentioning fresh flowers on arrival. Only one review noted a lingering dog smell, but this was quickly resolved. Overall, cleanliness is a standout feature.

The location is widely praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and abundant wildlife. Guests love the remote feel, yet appreciate the easy access to local attractions and towns. The only negative is the rough access track, but this does not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and warm, with a comfy bed and relaxing atmosphere. The only minor issues mentioned are low beams and steps, typical of an old cottage, but these do not impact overall comfort.

The cottage is described as well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a well-stocked kitchen and useful storage. A few guests noted the absence of an iron and board, and suggested a handrail for the garden steps, but overall facilities are highly rated.

Guests mention thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and friendly, helpful owners. While these gestures are appreciated, please note that such gifts or extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

Amazing cottage with all the home comforts you might need for a great week. The garden views are outstanding - overlooking rolling countryside and hills, farms and wildlife - as well as stars on a clear night - so magical. The cottage was warm and cosy, great facilities and everything you might need. Area was spectacular - yes, you need a car and expect slow drives around countryside roads and sometimes less well trodden tracks, but that's what makes a great, relaxing holiday. Close enough to major towns for convenience but far enough to feel total peace. Loved it!
